Horae — Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Horae application on Android and iOS and to this website. A single policy covers all of them because Horae's data practices are identical on every platform: no personal data is collected.

No data collection

• In-app purchases are processed securely by Apple App Store or Google Play. The developer cannot access your payment method or store account information; the app only checks the purchase entitlement on your device.
• Horae contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or attribution SDKs, and no third-party code that processes your data. No data is shared with any third party.
• Your preferences (selected face and display settings) are stored locally on your device. If system backup is enabled, they may be included in your own Android Backup or iCloud Backup. Such copies reside in your account with your platform provider and are not accessible to the developer.
• Charging status is read on the device only, solely to activate bedside mode when the device is connected to power. It is neither stored nor transmitted.

Retention and deletion

We do not collect or store personal data and therefore hold no data to retain or delete. All data written by Horae remains on your device and is removed when the application is uninstalled. To clear it without uninstalling, use your device's app storage settings on Android, or delete and reinstall the application on iOS. Any copy contained in your own device backup is governed by your Google or Apple account and may be removed there.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, the CCPA and comparable laws, you have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data held about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because Horae collects no personal data, we hold no data to which these rights could apply, and no consent is requested. You may contact us if you would like written confirmation.

Children

Horae does not knowingly collect personal data from any user, including children under 13 or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction. As the application collects no data, no personal data of a child can be collected through it.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Horae introduces a feature that processes personal data, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will be revised accordingly.
